Terms & Conditions for skip hire

1. The company does not accept any responsibility for any damage caused to the vehicle, the container, the property of the customer or any third party (including damage to road margins or pavements) while the vehicle is off the highway at the request of the hirer.

2. The skip must not be used for the purpose of burning refuse or any other product, any damage so caused will be the customer's liability.

3. The skip must be on private property unless otherwise agreed. When a highways licence is required for the skip to stand on highway or council owned verges and land, the skip hire company shall obtain this licence from the appropriate authorities and provide the necessary lights and cones in accord with the terms of the licence. Two full working days shall be required to obtain the highways licence.

4. The customer shall not remove the skip or reposition the skip without the consent of B&B Skip Hire Ltd.

5. The driver will refuse to lift and remove fire damaged, overloaded and dangerously loaded containers.

6. Hire period is 7 days unless otherwise agreed. Please contact the office for collection.

7. Customers shall re-imburse B&B Skip Hire Ltd. in respect of any lose or damages to the containers whilst on hire to them from whatsoever the cause (fair wear and tear accepted).

8. No tyres, fridges, freezer, batteries, liquid, toxic, asbestos waste, fluorescent tubes, gas bottles or anything that may cause an environmental hazard. The above list is not exhaustive. We can dispose of most of these wastes by special arrangement - please contact the office in advance.
