Here are some of the questions you may have about hiring a skip, hopefully our answers should be of help, of course you are free to contact us if you need to know more details. Q: What size skip do I need? A: We have four sizes of skip - mini(2 CU.YD. 6'x4'x3'), midi(3.5 CU.YD. 7'x5'x3'6"), 6yd(6 CU.YD. 10'x6'x3'6") and 8yd(8 CU.YD. 12'x6'x4'). If you are unsure about the size of skip you need just give us a call and tell us what you need the skip for and we will be able to help and advise you. Q: Where can I have my skip dropped? A: You can have it dropped on your driveway, garden or building site. Q: Do I need permission from the Council to put a skip on the road? A: Yes. You will need a permit from the Council but don't worry because we can apply for the permit on your behalf. Q: Are there any restrictions on what I can put into a skip? A: Yes. You cannot use a skip to dispose of tyres, fridges, gas bottles or any form of asbestos. If you are unsure please call and ask us. Q: Are there any skip loading requirements? A: The only requirement is that you don't overload the skip, a good rule of thumb is to level the fill with the top of the skip. Obviously, as well, you do not want to light any fires in a skip. Q: What area do you cover? 
A: We cover a 15 mile radius of Beccles, however, exceptions can be made in certain circumstances. If you are unsure please give us a call to find out if we cover your area. Q: How long can I keep the skip? A: Mini/Midi is a three day hire, 6yd and 8yd is a one week hire, with a charge levied for more days where needed. Q: How do I book a skip? A: Just call our friendly team on 01502 715146 or you can fax us on 01502 713230, or you can always email us to book your skip. Q: How much notice do I need to give? A: A single days notice is normally fine for most skip hire, but if any permits are needed we will need at least 48 hours notice. Q: What happens to my waste after it is taken away in a skip? A: We take your waste to our recycling centre where is it sorted into separate containers and recycled with nearly 80% of any waste being re-used, which reduces as much as possible the amount of land fill waste.
